You are welcome to participate in our volunteer program. We hope that we can provide you with the experience to live in a community and learn by helping. Here you will find special people that will do their best to make you feel comfortable and at home; we are dedicated to providing you with a unique experience in a beautiful environment conducive to growing, learning, and sharing. You are welcome to show up any time.
We welcome your unique personal contributions; the volunteers that have had the best experiences are the ones who have brought their own creativity and motivation. We hope that the beautiful surrounding environment and people you meet here will inspire you to make the most out of your stay.
Volunteers may stay at our farm for as long as they wish.
To get the most out of their experience, we estimate volunteers will want to commit themselves to at least 4 hours/day. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join us; the only requirement is that you are enthusiastic about working with our community.
Our basic accommodation consists of separate shared rooms for men and women; if you would prefer a separate, individual room in our hostel, we can provide that service for a slight cost.
We have a number of workshops that you can take advantage of including yoga, and vedic philosophy. You can learn the science of the soul and self realization practicing, Hatha Yoga, Karma Yoga, Jnana Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. You are also more than welcome to help out in our kitchen, vegetarian restaurant or bakery (operational 2 days a week). If you are willing to get dirty, you are can work in our organic farm with our biodynamic agronomist who also imparts theoretical and practical classes on organic agriculture, preparation of humus, and composting in Spanish 2 days every 2 weeks. More than anything we hope that you make new friends, and have the experience of a lifetime.
Prices:
$10US a day in a shared room and $8US a day if you bring your tent.
Included in the price is your food, 3 meals a day, basic accommodation in shared rooms for volunteers, and yoga classes Monday to Sunday.
You can stay as long as you want, a few days, a week a month etc.
We receive volunteers all the year and we have plenty of space for more volunteers.
We are a non-profit community group. We have numerous needs, which range from basic ones as well as materials (especially for our art workshop). We would greatly appreciate any donations that you would be willing to contribute!
Examples of donations might include musical instruments, art supplies or anything that you might want to leave behind as you continue your travels.
